An affluent individual who provides financial and intellectual capital to early-stage businesses or business concepts usually in exchange for ownership equity. PITCHINDIA’s Investors are wealthy entrepreneurs from across the world with years of experience looking for high returns from investment in new businesses in India.
How much does it cost?
The rates for a six month subscription are as follows:
Brainchild 2,800 INR
Bright Spark 2,800 INR
Entrepreneur (standard) 2,800 INR
Entrepreneur (premium) 3,700 INR
How do I pay for the Service?
A single fee is required for a six month subscription. You can choose to pay by debit or credit card through Worldpay or alternatively use PayPal if you already have a PayPal account. Both methods are via highly trusted and secure payment gateways which encrypt your transaction details.
What if I need to cancel my subscription?
You may only apply for a refund if you have been unable to complete the proposal form due to technical problems with the website, by email to enquiries@pitchindia.com . Once you have made payment and submitted your proposal you cannot cancel your subscription.
How do I know my idea will be treated in strictest confidence?
All users of PITCHINDIA are bound by the Terms of Use including a Confidentiality Agreement and all information is stored on a secure server. Your details are kept private and are not passed on to any third party. Unlike other websites your proposals cannot be viewed by other entrepreneurs or visitors of the website; they can only be viewed by Investors who have subscribed and registered with PITCHINDIA
How old do I need to be to use the Service?
You must be over 18 years of age.
Can I edit my proposal?
You may edit your proposal as many times as you wish during your subscription period; however the ‘title’ field of your proposal cannot be edited after first submission.
How will the investor contact me?
The Investors will contact you directly on your private chat facility which works in the same way as most online messenger services. You can check if your chat has been made public or private by the Investor concerned. Public chats are visible to all Investors on PITCHINDIA whereas private chats are only visible to you and the single Investor you are conversing with. Only give out information that you feel comfortable with. It is up to you and the Investor to exchange contact details if you wish to arrange a meeting for further discussions.
What happens to my idea/proposal once I have submitted it?
It is vetted by PITCHINDIA’s business team to ensure it meets PITCHINDIA criteria. If not, you will be sent a criterion report to the ‘Analysis’ section of your Account, asking you to provide the necessary details. Once you have passed the vetting process, your proposal is immediately placed onto the database for view by Investors. For Brainchild and Bright Spark users, the proposal is automatically submitted to the database on first submission.
